Enhanced Construction Details from the Energy Saving Trust focus on heat losses from thermal bridging. SupaWall can easily comply giving a y-value of 0.04 W/m²K & hence an effective improvement in u-value.

SupaWall gives an economic and straightforward solution to achieve an 'A' rated Energy Performance Certificate and the Code for Sustainable Homes all levels as well as the PassivHaus approach. As an option, the 50mm polyurethane insulation on the cavity face of the timber frame can be omitted, giving U-values of 0.17 W/m²K & 0.20 W/m²K respectively.
